Westerleigh Woodland Burial glade is set within the stunning grounds of Westerleigh Crematorium and Cemetery.

The Woodland Burial glade is tucked away in a tranquil setting overlooking the beautiful South Gloucestershire countryside. Westerleigh has long offered families a beautiful setting for traditional ashes and burial plots and the recent introduction of the woodland glade provides a natural alternative. Woodland burial plots are marked with natural granite boulders and ashes can be loosely scattered on the surface of our Cherry Gardens.

Woodland Scattering Areas

This is an area of the gardens, specially created for the scattering of ashes. The area is intended to be kept as natural as possible, and therefore no personal items are allowed in this area. The ashes are scattered loosely and can be carried out by a member of our staff, or the family can be present when we do this. If you would like to witness the scattering, please call the office to make an appointment.
